Very central location for Bamborough castle ,pleasent hotel with excellant restaurant ,good value for money ,great service from attentive staff.
No specified car parking, some free roadside parking, however possibly could be a problem in high season.
Excellent location for our trip to Northumbria. Staff friendly and helpful, breakfasts very good and set you up for the day.Rooms very good and good service.
Food on Sunday evening was very "Sunday evening food"
Service and food very good.
Decor etc in bedroom & bathroom very dated. We were supposed to be staying in a superior room; wouldn't have wanted anything less 'superior'. Didn't think it was 'value for money'. Typical British hotel standards.
We liked the relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, location was superb. The brasserie and dining in the conservatory added to our comfort. We liked the modern decor in the brasserie. The location was perfect and the view of the castle idylic.
The dust on the doord and in the lounge.
Very friendly and helpfull with good food
The quality of the evening bar food. Breakfast was good, dinner very poor!
The Victoria Hotel is right in the heart of Bamburgh, a great location
rooms a tiny bit to small
Liked the four poster bed, the friendly staff, the location, the bar and food, the breakfast. All good, would go again to this hotel.
welcoming and freindly staf
Room was lovely, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with a wide choice of options - perfect for a fussy eater! Would recommend it to anyone
Location very good. The gentleman who served breakfast was very friendly and helpful indeed. He had a very Nice rapport.
Very cold bedroom and bathroom which made it very unpleasant in the room.Reception staff not very welcoming when we arrived.
Good sized room & friendly staff
Room could have been cleaner, dirty stair & hall carpets
The food was excellent as was the service. I found the staff to be really friendly.
The hotel seemed a little 'tired' and in need of some investment.
The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was lovely along with the service
The room was a little scruffy with knobs missing off a wardrobe and scuff marks around. my dog found a jelly baby under the curtain
The quality fo the castle view room, and the location in beautiful Bamburgh. Breakfast including the kippers wre excellent
The a la carte menu could be more varied
